The Zivic Micron Biopsy Punch is ideal for dissection or removal (“punch”) of discrete tissue regions. Enabling the removal of specific brain nuclei, tracts and other subdivisions, Micropunch applications include dissection for analysis of neurotransmitter concentrations of mRNA levels, preparation of regions prior to acute dissociation for patch recording, and tissue preparation for pharmacological analysis of neurotransmitters and metabolite changes in response to different pharmacological agents.
The Micron Punch has a stainless steel tip, brass handle, and punch diameters ranging from .300mm to 2.000mm.
